Booths Music has been an invaluable resource to the musicians of Bolton and beyond since 1832. We feel we have some of the most experienced music teachers in the country, who are on hand for music lessons throughout the week from our town centre premises. Although tutors experience great demand, we are always happy to accommodate new pupils for tuition of many popular instruments. Hugely popular with all ages and abilities, we offer a wide range of guitar lessons and tuition at our Bolton premises. These include electric, acoustic and spanish guitar tuition in rock, jazz, flamenco, classical, latin, blues, country and folk.
Experienced music tutors are on hand throughout the week. Although they encounter great demand, we are always happy to accommodate new pupils for both keyboard and piano lessons, as well as other instruments of course.
The Drum studios have been designed and built to the specific needs of each different drum tutor. They feature acoustic kits, speakers as well as various accessories and percussion instruments on hand in order to aid progress. Instructional, inspirational DVDs can be accessed if required.
There are several instruments in the woodwind lessons category, but here we will concentrate on the three most popular choices: saxophone, clarinet and the flute.
Experienced vocal tutors are on hand for singing lessons throughout the week and weekend, teaching from our purposely enhanced studios. A wide range of specialist vocal tuition is on offer, ranging from pop to classical to musical theatre.

Whilst placing emphasis on technique, dynamics, posture and various other points to ensure a good knowledge of brass playing, theory is also an important factor in brass lessons that will be covered. Help integrating with local brass bands is also available with the staff and brass tutors.
Booths music tuition
The staff at Booths keep the cogs turning with for tuition, repairs and the general day-to-day of running the shop. As regular full-time staff, each day you will likely see Tony, Jean, Colin, Will and James. Evening-time duties are undertaken by Will as well as Andrea, often accompanied by son Dagan. Occasional Saturday staff also include James, Phil and Lydia.
