Expression, Creativity and Confidence

Drawing on our many years of experience servicing saxophones, we know the instrument itself is mechanically complex, with intricate keywork and precise engineering. However, the physical act of playing the saxophone is very approachable for beginners. As with all instruments, progress comes with regular, dedicated practice. Saxophones are also relatively low maintenance, with recommended servicing every 12–18 months. Ongoing costs are minimal, as reeds are inexpensive and easy to replace, making saxophone lessons an accessible option for many learners.

Our saxophone lessons are fully flexible, giving students the choice to work towards graded music exams or follow a more personal musical journey. Whichever route you choose, lessons focus on developing expression, creativity and confidence on this wonderfully diverse and improvisational instrument.

Saxophone Lessons for all ages & abilities

Lessons take place in our light and airy teaching studios, where we offer woodwind tuition including saxophone, flute, clarinet and recorder. Our experienced woodwind tutors teach throughout the week and, despite high demand, we are always happy to welcome new pupils for saxophone lessons.

We provide a relaxed yet focused one-to-one learning environment suitable for students of all ages, abilities and musical tastes. Whether your goal is to progress through graded exams, improve existing technique, or simply enjoy playing your favourite tunes at your own pace, our saxophone lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs.

Saxophone Exams Supported

Many of our students have achieved excellent results through graded exams with ABRSM, Trinity College and London College of Music, while others prefer to enjoy playing purely for pleasure in a supportive and encouraging setting.
