John Beddington has been a mainstay with us for many years, offering guitar lessons during the week and at weekends. With decades of performing and teaching at a professional level to offer, he is very popular with students.

Having studied various styles and techniques, John is able to teach electric, acoustic and classical guitar up to a very high standard. John offers the RGT examination syllabus and can boast a 100% pass rate for all students who have been entered for exams, from beginner level up to grade 8.

Particularly popular instruments at present include the Banjo and Ukulele, which are also taught from our downstairs studios alongside the Mandolin. Although these instruments are fun to learn, theory is incorporated into lessons and a high playing standard can be achieved.
