Cider ‘ouse Jam Nite celebrates three years

The popular Bolton jam night that Colin runs over at the Old Man & Scythe pub opposite Booth’s Music, is holding a celebration this March. The “Cider ‘ouse Jam Nite” began operating in March 2011, and since then has attracted a regular crowd of musicians from all walks of life who enjoy jamming together.

Some of the evenings can get quite chaotic at times, but the Jam session also offers a platform for talented musicians to practice thier live set and gain new fans in a relaxed and informal setting. It takes place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month in the “piano room” at the Man & Scythe opposite Booth’s Music store.
You may have seen the Old Man & Scythe in the news recently, with a supposed ghost sighting on the pub’s CCTV attracting ghost hunters from far and wide!
